specpgms.zip
1/3/08

Current distribution of Speciation programs for SMOKE
see http://www.cert.ucr.edu/~carter/emitdb
and pgmdoc.doc (a Microsoft Word file) for details.

Extract the files preserving internal directory structure. E.g.,
copy specpgms.zip to an empty directory, and use unzip specpgms.
(A compatible version of Unzip.exe is available at
http://www.cert.ucr.edu/~carter/emitdb/unzip.exe. See
http://www.info-zip.org/ for documentation for this free program.)

Run test.bat to test and examples of execution.

December 22, 2004
Also includes files for E10 project "Toxic SAPRC99 Species
Modelling"

E10.BAT runs the program to produces the files for the standard
"Fixed parameter" version of SAPRC-99 and also for a modified
version where benzene and 1,3-butadiene are treated explictly.
See comments in E10.BAT, S99STD.IN, and S99EXT.in for details.

It is not necessary to run the programs in E10.BAT, since the
output files have already been created. The files of specific
interest to this project are those for the version of the
mechanism where benzene and 1,3-butadiene are treated explicltly,
produced using S99EXT.IN. These are as follows:

- S99EXT.GSP ... The SMOKE GSPRO file for processing emissions.
- S99EXT.MEC ... The CMAQ mechanism definition file for SAPRC-99
with reactions of benzene and 1,3-butadiene added, and where the
ARO1 and OLE2 are modified accordingly.
- VOC2TOG.S32 ... The TOG to VOC conversion factors for the
Speciate 3.2 profiles used to produce the GSPRO file. (This is
mechanism independent)

The files S99STD.GSP and S99STD.MEC are analogous to those above,
but are for the standard mechanism where benzene and 1,3-butadiene
are lumped.
